The Star Boost payout system is the ultimate game changer! The higher the point gap between your opponents, the bigger you win! The stars are the limit!
When entering the lobby, you’ll see the star indication that shows the maximum prize/loss multiplier:
During the game, the multiplier indicator will show your current progress. If you are winning, the indicator star will be yellow and if you are losing, the indicator star will be grey.
At the end of each game, the point difference between you and your opponent/s will be calculated. Then, you’ll see your star multiplier on the scale based on how big or small the point difference is. The larger the point gap, the bigger the prize!
Partners:
When playing partners, the point gap is calculated based on the point difference between your team and the rival team.
For example, if you are playing a 1,000 stake table with a 3x star multiplier, you will win up to 3,100 coins because you win your buy-in of 1,000 back, and your profit of 700 coins is multiplied by three.
If you are playing a 1,000 stake table with a 3x star multiplier, you can lose up to 3,000 because you lose your buy-in three times.
*Please note, prize or loss cannot exceed the amount in your balance.
Solo:
When playing solo, the point gap is calculated for each player in the following way:
If you won first place, your star multiplier is calculated based on the point difference between you and fourth place.
If you won second place, you win your buy-in back, minus the usual rake (15% of your buy-in). The star boost multiplier does not apply to second place.
If you ranked third or fourth place, the point gap and multiplier is the difference between first place and you.
The calculation for the star multiplier is the same as in partners mode.
Tie:
The scoring of a tie game depends on the mode you’re playing in:
Partners – the payout is split between the teams, and the stars payout system does not apply to this scenario.
Solo – If two players tie in first place, each will get the full prize with the multiplier. Third and fourth place will receive their payout according to the calculation mentioned above.
If two players tie in second place, they will split their winnings and the stars payout system does not apply. First and fourth place will receive their payout according to the calculation mentioned above.
Quit:
The quit penalty is determined based on the timing in which you choose to quit the game.
The higher the point difference (win/loss) when quitting, the higher the multiplied penalty will be.
** Please note that the minimum multiplier you can get for a quit penalty is 2x.
